PT. Batang Alum Industrie is a manufacturing company that produces artificial sweetener products. It was established in 1973 and started operation in 1974. At the beginning, PT. Batang Alum Industrie manufactured only Sodium Saccharin products, it’s production capacity reach of 240 MT per year. In 1976, PT. Batang Alum Industrie expanded its business operations by adding production facilities for Sodium Cyclamate products, with a production capacity reach of 2,160 MT per year.
Now, PT. Batang Alum Industrie is the only producer of Sodium Saccharin products in Indonesia with a production capacity of 600 MT per year, and one of the largest Sodium Cyclamate producers in Indonesia with a production capacity of 4,800 MT per year. Sodium Saccharin and Sodium Cyclamate products of PT. Batang Alum Industrie are marketed under the brands Miki Saccharin, Miki Cyclamate and Cangkir Cyclamate. These products are available in Loose Packaging and Consumer Packaging.
In accordance with the packaging, customers of PT. Batang Alum Industrie are Institutional Customers, General Trade Customer and Hotel, Restaurant and Canteen that is reached through the indirect distribution and direct distribution network throughout Indonesia, particularly North Sumatra, Riau and Riau Islands, West Sumatra, Jambi, South Sumatra, Lampung, Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, East Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo and Maluku.
In 2014 PT. Batang Alum Industrie began exporting Sodium Saccharin products, followed by 2015 PT. Batang Alum Industries exports Sodium Cyclamate products.
